Safe X System creates new ITS-solution for Norra Backa
Borlänges new shopping area Norra Backa is under construction with associated infrastructure such as a driveway with a tunnel leading to the area. Since the tunnel is limited in height, drivers of high vehicles such as trucks and trailers risk damage and/or getting stuck. Borlänge-based company Safe X Systems has created a solution to help truck drivers choose the right way when approaching the tunnel.

KVITS up and running!
ITSdalarnas project KVITS, with its associated networking program, runs this autumn. In august the project had its major public kick-off featuring seminars with odd couple Christer Karlsson, ITS Sweden, and Martina Haag, funny and inspiring writer/actor. September 11th the second meeting in the program was held with "the needs of ITS" as a topic.

ITSdalarna gets session at the 2012 ITS World Congress!
Great news -  ITSdalarna contributes with a paper at the programme at ITS world congress 2012, held in Vienna this autumn. 
Our session, where Annica will describe "A road map for establishing a regional ITS cluster", is held in the afternoon at thursday oct 25th.

Thank you Håkan - welcome Mats, new manager of TDA-E16
Mr. Håkan Gelin is retiring from ITSdalarna, where he has been an important factor in the development of TDA-E16 as an arena for tests in the ITS field. We wish Håkan all the best and lots of time to dedicate himself to family and other interests. Thank you, Håkan!
